Following reports of ballot issues, some Baltimore Scoop followers are now sharing troubling firsthand experiences from Election Day.
One voter told us they arrived at the polls only to discover they were not registered under the party they expected.
One voter said they had voted for Dalya Attar in a previous election, but this time poll workers informed them they were registered as an Independent, preventing them from voting in the Democratic primary.
Another voter claimed they had switched their party affiliation to Democrat ahead of the deadline, but when they arrived to vote, their registration still had not been updated.
Combined with reports of voting machines prompting voters to manually select a party, these incidents are raising serious concerns about election procedures, voter registration records, and whether eligible voters were improperly affected.
