New details have been released on Officer Paul Catalfamo’s condition following the June 7 shooting along the Milford Mill Trail.

According to a GoFundMe set up by his sisters, the 22-year-old officer suffered multiple gunshot wounds as well as broken C5-C6 vertebrae in his neck, causing spinal cord trauma.

Officer Catalfamo spent nearly 10 nights at Shock Trauma before being released, but his recovery journey is far from over.

His family says he faces a long road ahead with significant medical and recovery-related expenses.
