Baltimore County Police say Officer P. Catalfamo remains in critical but stable condition at Shock Trauma after being shot Sunday in the 900 block of Milford Mill Road.

A second victim who was also struck by gunfire is recovering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The suspect remains hospitalized in stable condition, and police say his name will be released once criminal charges are filed.

Detectives have determined that two Baltimore County officers discharged their service weapons during the incident. Officer Catalfamo was not one of them.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
