Baltimore Police arrested three 14-year-old boys Saturday night after officers allegedly found them inside a car that had been reported stolen in a carjacking, with a loaded gun in their possession.

Police say the investigation began around 9:30 p.m. when a license plate reader detected the stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of West North Avenue.

The department’s Foxtrot helicopter tracked the vehicle before officers stopped it roughly two miles away near East North Avenue and Homewood Avenue.

All three teenagers were taken to juvenile booking for processing.
