A teenager was bitten by a beaver while swimming in Cunningham State Park yesterday morning, and was medevaced to a Baltimore hospital.  The Maryland Department of Natural Resources located and euthanized the beaver, in order to test the beaver for rabies.  Officials said the boy suffered injuries to his hands and chest.  The swimming area is closed for now while officials work to determine whether it is safe to re-open.
