After Baltimore Scoop brought attention to Baltimore County’s proposed “road diet” on Old Court Road, Talmudical Academy sent an email to its entire parent body urging families to speak up before the public comment deadline.

The school warned that reducing Old Court Road to one lane in each direction between Greenwood Road and Reisterstown Road could significantly worsen traffic during arrival and dismissal, create longer carpool lines, and make access to the school more difficult.

While we wouldn’t have minded a little credit 😉, we’re glad to see community institutions getting involved. More importantly, this shows the impact Baltimore Scoop can have when we bring important issues to light.
