State Senator Shelly Hettleman, a Baltimore Scoop follower, sent Baltimore Scoop clarification regarding the Maryland mail-in ballot issue that recently sparked criticism from President Trump.

One reported example involved a registered Democrat receiving a Republican primary ballot.

(Baltimore Scoop is unsure if this occurred in the West Bank AKA Park Heights 😜)

Because election officials could not fully determine which voters were impacted, Maryland is now mailing replacement ballots to everyone who requested a mail-in ballot before May 14, reportedly affecting more than 400,000 voters statewide.
