Today, Chol Hamoed Sukkos, marks the yahrzeit of longtime Baltimore Hatzalah member Lonnie Borck, Chaim Leib Gedalyahu ben Chana Reuven, a”h (M-58).

Lonnie was among the early members of Hatzalah in Baltimore and was deeply involved in saving lives throughout the community. He was also instrumental in helping Hatzalah of Baltimore receive city approval to operate its own transport.

In his memory, the community is encouraged to give tzedakah, learn Mishnayos, light a candle, and have his neshama in mind when performing acts of chesed.
