Baltimore County Police are reminding residents to stay safe when buying or selling items online by using designated Transaction Safe Zones located at local precincts.
With spring cleaning underway and more people listing items for sale, police say these zones provide a secure place to meet buyers or sellers in person.
Each Transaction Safe Zone is: • Open to the public
• Video recorded at all times
• Well-lit
• Clearly marked with visible signage
Officials say using these locations can help prevent scams, theft, or unsafe encounters during online marketplace transactions.
