Johns Hopkins University has refused to comment after sponsoring an event last night at the Parkway Theater featuring infamous Jew-hater Mahmoud Khalil. When pressed for comment by the Baltimore Scoop, the University initially expressed interest in releasing a written statement, before “ghosting” us for two days. Hopkins has also failed to respond to a press release blasting the event from the Coalition of Baltimore Region Activists, or the many community members who have expressed their outrage.
At the packed event last night, Khalil spoke about his book “No Land to Stand On”, in which he promotes the efforts to destroy the state of Israel, and accuses America of “shredding basic rights” and becoming a “lawless regime.”
The event was sponsored by The Chloe Center of Johns Hopkins University, which claims to focus on “the critical study of racism, immigration and colonialism.” What Johns Hopkins University thinks about concerns from the Baltimore Jewish community is pretty clear.
