Bring Back Our Bags
The following was sent by a Baltimore Scoop follower
This past Friday, I was attending a siyum for a friend. I came early to help set up. As part of that, he handed me a paper bag filled with bagels and breakfast items. Within seconds, the bag completely fell apart. The orange juice inside came crashing down and exploded everywhere… including all over my pants. The entire event, I was wet and smelled like orange juice. Not exactly how you want to spend a simcha.
Then it got worse.
When I got home, my wife asked me to bring in groceries. This time, I was extra careful… because once again, paper bags. As I walked up to the house, the bottom gave out. Cola cans went flying everywhere, down the driveway and into the street.
At this point, it is not just frustrating. It is ridiculous.
As we head toward election season, it is time to bring this conversation back. Policies like this are not working..
Bring back our bags!
