As the 2026 primary election approaches, Baltimore Scoop is reminding the community to make sure you’re registered to vote before the upcoming deadlines.

There is alot on the line this upcoming election and we need to support those who look out for our community and show up for them just like they show up for us.

The Maryland State Board of Elections has outlined several ways to register or update your voter information:

• Online: Deadline is June 2
• By Mail: Must be postmarked by June 2
• In Person: Available during early voting (June 11–18) or on Primary Day (June 23)

On Primary Day, polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM, and anyone in line by 8 PM will still be able to vote.

If you plan to register in person, be sure to bring a document that shows your current address.

Baltimore Scoop encourages everyone in our community to take a few minutes to check your registration status and make a plan to vote.
