Maryland utility customers could soon see money coming back their way following a Maryland Supreme Court ruling that is expected to result in more than $250 million in tax refunds statewide.
BGE, Pepco and Delmarva Power are seeking approval to return roughly $160 million of their portion directly to customers.
The remaining amount involves other utilities and refund recipients outside those three companies.
Baltimore Scoop will share additional details as they become available, including how much BGE customers could receive and when refunds may be issued.
