Governor Moore plans to sign the Protection from Predatory Pricing Act, which will ban grocery stores from charging different prices on the same item at the same time.

Major retailers including Walmart are adopting digital price tags in stores.  When paired with predictive technology, these tags could have the ability to dynamically change the price of an item, based on which shopper is in front of it.  

Consumer Reports pushed for the new law, which will go into effect on October 1st.  Many other states including NY, NJ and CA are considering similar laws.
