A 29-year-old Maryland man was arrested after police say he stole a 3-month-old kitten from a Beltsville, Maryland pet store, and then attempted to rob a nearby PNC bank while carrying the kitten.

Prince George’s County Police say the robbery was unsuccessful, and the kitten was safely found in the bank manager’s office, and returned to the pet store.
