Former Senator Jill P. Carter currently serves on the Maryland State Board of Contract Appeals, a powerful quasi-judicial board that handles disputes involving Maryland state contracts, procurement fights, bid protests, contractor claims, and cases involving businesses and the government.

In other words, this is not just some ceremonial position. This is a role where fairness, neutrality, and impartial judgment are supposed to matter.

Now ask yourself this:

If a government official publicly pushes the notion that Jews “control the media,” should Jewish Marylanders feel confident they would receive a fair shake appearing before a board she serves on?

It’s completely insane that someone in a position involving legal and contractual judgment would publicly say something like that.

Has anyone here ever  appeared before cases involving this board? Let us know…
