Baltimore police are searching for six young males seen on surveillance video brutally attacking a 74-year-old man during an attempted armed robbery.

The attack occurred around 3:46 a.m. on July 7 in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Video shows the suspects repeatedly punching, kicking and stomping on the elderly victim as he lay on the ground.

Police said one suspect appeared to be carrying a gray assault-style rifle, while another was armed with a sword.
