Eyre Bus Service, the family-run Howard County bus company that has served the area for more than 75 years, has been acquired by Rockville-based RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation.

The deal includes Eyre’s fleet of 22 motor coaches and its existing contracts. Eyre’s maintenance operations will continue separately as Eyre HD Fleet Services under the current management team.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
