Earlier today, multiple transformers reportedly exploded near Slade Avenue and Stark Avenue, close to the STAR-K building, causing a widespread power outage in the area.

A Baltimore Scoop follower reported hearing and seeing the explosions around approximately 12 PM, with power knocked out throughout the surrounding neighborhood.

Video from the scene showed smoke and flashes coming from the affected transformers.
