With gas prices rising again, Senator Dalya Attar is calling for Maryland to consider a temporary moratorium on the state gas tax.

Attar previously pushed for gas tax relief when prices surged several years ago, and that moratorium was ultimately put in place, helping drivers at the pump.

Now, with families already paying more for groceries, housing and other essentials, Attar says Maryland should once again look at temporary tax relief to help ease the burden.
