Baltimore City Councilman Isaac Yitzy Schleifer is speaking out after learning about a 41st District political slate that allegedly crossed off the names (see attached image) of all nine Jewish candidates, along with candidates associated with them, while leaving non-Jewish candidates they were also not endorsing untouched.

“This is happening during Jewish American Heritage Month in a district that is home to one of the largest Jewish communities in America,” Schleifer wrote on X.

He continued, “People should call this out and expose it for what it is.”

Baltimore Scoop’s Take: If candidates are being singled out specifically because they are  Jews or associated with Jews, that is very telling who is on the other side and how they view our community. This upcoming election is crucial and everyone needs to get out the vote!
