Residents are invited to attend a community open house tonight at the Pikesville Branch Library from 6 to 8 p.m., where the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation will present preliminary design plans for sidewalk improvements along Lightfoot Drive, from Carla Road to Old Court Road.

The proposed project includes the installation of new five-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, covering approximately 0.4 miles. Plans also feature new crosswalks, curb and gutter work, and stormwater management improvements.

Community members will have the opportunity to review the plans and share feedback.
