A reported bomb threat  triggered a large police response and precautionary lockdowns at Beth Tfiloh while other schools Thursday morning took additional precautions.

According to initial dispatch audio, a male caller claimed he had a grenade and a shotgun and threatened to harm people at the school. Police units were staged nearby and responded to the scene.

Officers cleared hallways and conducted a full sweep of the building. School officials later confirmed the premises were secure and all students were safe. No injuries were reported.

Out of caution, other schools implemented a modified lockdown, suspending outdoor activities and increasing security presence. Officials said there was no specific threat directed at the other schools.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement confirming details from the initial reports. The situation appears to be under control. We will keep you updated if more information becomes available.
