Someone in the community sent in this notice showing that BGE is planning to shut off electricity on Tuesday, April 8 — the first day of the last days of Yom Tov, starting around 9:00 AM and lasting for several hours.

This kind of timing is obviously difficult for many families, especially with Yom Tov needs like refrigeration, lighting, and general household use.
