A woman preparing to donate her kidney at Johns Hopkins Hospital was surrounded by people who had once stood in her shoes.
Among those there to support her were Mrs. Chaya Lasson, who donated a kidney three years ago, and Etai Fishbein, who donated just four weeks ago.
They weren’t there because they had to be.
They were there to support the next person saying “yes.”
What starts as a life-saving donation often becomes something more: strangers becoming family, and acts of kindness inspiring others to do the same. ❤️
