At approximately 8:50 a.m., officers from the Pikesville Precinct were responding to a suspicious person/indecent exposure call along a trail off Milford Mill Road when they were fired upon by an armed suspect.

One officer was struck by gunfire and transported to Shock Trauma. The suspect was taken into custody.

A news conference is scheduled for 1:15 at Shock Trauma (Penn & W. Lombard).
