Baltimore City may close the 103 year old Warren Rd. Bridge in Cockeysville, amid a funding dispute with Baltimore County.  The bridge has sparked safety concerns, with heavy rusting and dangling steel visible.  

The bridge is owned and maintained by Baltimore City, but is located in Baltimore County.  There is no current plan for a replacement bridge, with the City arguing it should not spend limited funds on a bridge that city residents don’t use.  Meanwhile, thousands of outraged County residents use the bridge daily, including many school buses.
