A 10-year old girl was attacked yesterday by a beaver at Seneca Creek State Park, in the third beaver attack at a Maryland State Park this summer.   Two beaver attacks happened recently at Cunningham Falls State Park.

In the attack yesterday, a beaver bit the young girl three times in the leg while she was canoeing with a group at summer camp.  Wildlife officials are now searching for the beaver.
