Agudath Israel is calling on the Frum community to contact our Senators and oppose legislation that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide.

Permanent Daylight Saving Time would have disastrous effect on Shuls and individuals trying to Daven with a minyan before work.   Sunrise in Baltimore would only occur after 8am for parts of the winter, and other cities will see sunrise as late as 9am.  

Permanent Daylight Savings Time would also cause children to head to school in the dark, putting them at increased risk.
